Graeme McMillan’s morning review of Star Trek Into Darkness says the movie feels like the “polar oposite” of Star Trek’s 2009 reboot – and not in a good way.

Graeme says the movie feels “uneven,”  unfocused and “far too concernecd with what has gone before.”   Though he says the visual effects and stunt work is impressive, there is so much reference toward nastalgia that it becomes overwhelming and distracts the viewer from what’s happening.  He also says the sheer amount of climactic action sequences left him not only exhausted but thinking “shouldn’t this be over yet?”

He does say however that; “The actors impress dispite the story problems” and “its hard to get past the feeling that Star Trek Into Darkness is a film that’s “good enough”  and “certainly enjoyable” but “it could have been so much more than that.”

You can be part of a fundraising effort to place the NASA video  ‘We Are The Explorers’ as a trailer to the upcoming Star Trek movie Into Darkness on as many screens as possible.

This effort has been tremendously successful so far.  We Are The Explorers will air on 50 screens across the nation for the first 8 weeks of  the Star Trek Into Darkness‘ run as an edited 30 second piece.

The campaign is now working to hit a goal that will enable them to put the trailer in at least one theater in every state in the USA for two weeks.
